Anna Rafalowski, Cycler, earthenware ceramics, 2017

Anna Rafalowski works in sculpture through different mediums primarily, ceramics. She enjoys and creates the unexpected and humor in her work. By using texture and color in a controlled, repetitious manner she creates formal objects and narratives.

    Heather Fortune, Fruit, ceramics and netting, 7" x 7" x 6"

Heather Fortune is from Durham, North Carolina. She is currently studying for a B.F.A. in sculpture at UNCG. The inspiration of Fortune’s work comes from feminist artist Sarah Lucas’ visual puns as well as Jeff Koons’ reproduction of banal objects. Fortune’s works are playful translations of objectophilia and erotica.
